Matt and I didn't think going home to Utah and Idaho this Summer was going to be a possibility...ticket prices were over $500 EACH and we were not able to use our accumulated miles on the dates we wanted....when you have to pay for 5 people to travel, and pay for a rental car, it gets a little hard to swallow. I was worried because the family hasn't met Eva yet and so we couldn't NOT go! Matt was ready to ditch the idea of going out West and just take our family on a cruise (funny that it would be cheaper to cruise then go visit family). But a miracle happened and we were able to find tickets at a little better price...so UTAH and IDAHO HERE WE COME!!!!! Can't wait!
It was ironic because the next day, even before the kids knew we had purchased our tickets, Emma brought home this journal entry from her school journal...
I guess someone else had family on their mind! :)

We come out June 27th - July 11th I think those are the dates. Can't wait to see you guys. will you be around?
