What timing...it was so fun that the Silver Spurs Rodeo fell on the weekend that Grandma & Grandpa Rose were here! The only problem was that all the kids had out grown their cowboy attire and so we had to make a stop at Sheplers first. Emma and Gavin got boots and jeans and we finally found a hat for me :) And then the rodeo was a blast!
It was so funny because at one point I looked into the back seat and Emma had fallen asleep on Luke and he didn't even notice :) And then before long they were ALL asleep. It hurts my neck looking at them!
Luke got out there and tried to pull the ribbon off the calves tail but there were way too many kids :)

The rodeo was a highlight! Loved that Luke didn't even hesitate to run down and chase the calf's tail in spite of that mob of kids!
Oh, and I particularly LOVE the "behind" shot taken at Sheplar's. I'm still mad at Matt for not getting in it! And who is that beautiful woman in the background trying on the hat?
I love these pictures. So glad Wendy and Greg got to come see you. I love the pictures of all of you in your hats. Fun memories. We hope to see you this summer. Love ya
Man, that makes my neck hurt too--this looks similar to our long trips in the van! The kids look so cute all decked out in their cowboy attire. Everytime my kids go to G&G Rose's house most of them get their boots, jeans, chaps, and hats on and then it cracks me up because just a few minutes after arriving, it's all stacked up in a pile by the door. What funny kids! Looks like you guys had a great time!
