Emma's recent playdates...

Emma has the cutest little BFF named Marin and these two are inseparable! If anything exciting happens to Emma she immediately says "Oh I can't wait to tell Marin!" If Emma draws a picture you know it is for Marin. I LOVE Marin to death and am so glad she has a friend that she adores.

But I also have had to remind Emma that the world doesn't revolve around Marina and that she needs to branch out and not leave anyone out. I think she has done a pretty good job of this...especially lately. She came home and announced that she and her friend Jaiden wanted to have a play date. I kind of blew it off because I am not good at letting my kids have friends over that I don't know. She came home a few more times requesting this play date. Finally she brought home a list of the kids in her class and their phone numbers that she got from her teacher and announced that she and Jaiden had planned a play date for the following day and that I just needed to call his mom. I finally called and set it up. Here is her cute little friend Jaiden, he was such a pleasant little boy. They walked home from school and let Gavin join them.

Then she had another play date with these cute little twins Madison and Bailey...I don't know what got into me that day (Luke also had Carver over and Gavin had Cooper over so I already had a house full)...I think I got a second wind and suggested we make cupcakes. It made a mess of the kitchen but the girls had a blast!

Emma's friend Brianne caught wind of the play date and wandered over to join in on the fun! :) So yes we had a house of 9 kids at one time! So ya the cupcakes were a little ambitious. Oh well it was a fun day.
