There's talk of potty training...

Right now it's just talk and not much action. Gavin knows how to poop on the toilet, it's just a matter of getting him to do it consistently. And poor kid, right now I am so busy running from here to there that there is no time to stay home and get the job done. So it's just talk, here is our conversation today. While I'm changing his poopy diaper....

Me: "You know next time you could poop in the toilet, and then I wouldn't have to change your diaper"

Gavin: "Ooohhh that's how you do it"

Me: "Yep. Big boys poop in the toilet"

Gavin (thinking I said "good boys"): "Oh good boys poop in the toilet?"

Me: "Yep"

Gavin: "So grandpa poops in the toilet"

Me: "Yep"

Gavin: "Oh and Jesus poops in the toilet"

Me: "Um ya I guess you're right"

Funny conversation! :) It's cool to think that Grandpa and Jesus are the ones he thinks of when he thinks of "good boys" :)

That's so cute!

As much as I completely and utterly loathe potty training with all my soul (that and breast feeding are the worst parts of motherhood to me), I am so glad Brigham is done. It's amazing what a difference it makes.

Grandpa and Jesus -- that's so classic and sweet!

Good Luck with the potty training! I think so far it is the thing I have disliked the most about being a Mom! But having them completely potty trained is wonderful!!! So I guess we have to do the hard part to get the reward! I love that he thought of Jesus and his Grandpa as "good boys"- yes they are! :)

Oh out of the mouth of babes!!! Potty training ,why, I think I would of had 10 more, if I didn't have to potty train them, but come to think about it, it's just preparing you for the teenage years, you'll look back on Potty training a scoff!!! What doesn't kill us makes us tougher. Go Gavin, may the force be with you Sara!!!!

Cute! He is growing up way too fast. Good luck with the potty training, I HATE IT!! I really do! But, maybe he'll be super easy, I'm praying the babies will be easy, ya right. Luv you, Sara
