We had a party with some friends and did a fun gift exchange game. Luke ended up with a gumball machine and I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being his favorite gift of the season! :) The next day we went to the store and he used his debit card that he got for his birthday back in April, and he bought gumballs for his machine. It was so cute to see him sign his name in cursive on the machine at the store. He hurried home and set up shop selling gumballs for 25 cents each. Soon all the neighbor kids were out helping Luke with his shop, holding signs at the corner, etc. By the end of the day Luke's little operation made $16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course that was not all profit...he had to pay his employees and it cost him $12 to buy the gumballs. But still a good chunk of change. When Matt came home from work he was horrified that Luke was ripping off the neighbors and accused him of price gouging. So now they are only 10 cents if you are interested :)

Oh Matt you are a spoil sport, that is called free enterprise, if someone is willing to pay that much then let him sell them for that much!!! I love you!!! HAHA
Capitalism at it's finest! We have a little entrepreneur on our hands. That is so cute! Hey, you pay .25 for a gumball in those machines, right?
