Luke's first piano recital!!!!

Today was Luke's very first piano recital and he was AWESOME! I was so proud of him! He played Animal Band, and Waltzing Elephants. His teacher is a friend of mine from the ward, Colleen Potter. She teaches tons of kids from the ward, in fact she had to split up all of her students and have 2 different recital times. Great job Luke!!!!

Luke just before it was his turn...looking a little nervous :)

This video is kind of funny...people really weren't talking this loud while he was playing...Matt thought he was videoing the real performance but wasn't in actuality and so after everyone was done I had Luke play while people were visiting :)

WOW, Luke! I hope you will always love to play the piano. You are doing so well; can't wait to hear you in person when we come in May!

PS... you will be such a blessing to the missionary effort when you are out there serving the Lord. Uncle Scott had many opportunities to play for Sacrament Meetings, district meetings, and other times! Keep playing, Luke!

Wow!! He sounds so good! I love it when boys play the piano! We plan on putting Kaleb in when he gets old enough. By the way, your day out with Emma looked like so much fun! You really are the cutest mom and are always doing the cutest things for your kids! Miss you!

Wow, Luke! I thought I responded to this post long ago and somehow didn't get it published. We are so proud of you! It was amazing to us that you had progressed that much from when we heard you play in September. Just keep practicing regularly! What a force for good you will be in seminary, the mission field, etc. etc. Can't wait to see you in a month and a half!
