Emma did an AMAZING job at her dance recital! She did a tap number to In the Mood and she knew it so well that she didn't even have to look into the wings for Lori's help and reminding! She smiled and was beaming up there. I was so proud! It was extra special to have Kim and her kids there too. The kids were amazing and sat quietly through the whole show!
I must admit it was a little weird to be sitting out in the audience instead of backstage getting all the kids on stage and dancing at the end. Actually it was a little refreshing to be able to relax and watch my sweet little girl on stage! What a great day!

This cute little girl Nikki that was in Emma's class was always soooooo sweet and thoughtful! At the end of the show she came and brought Emma a little porcelain ballerina! Talk about sweet! It was fun for the two of them to make a great friendship this year!

Emma, you look like a little star in these pictures! So sad we weren't there to see you perform! Maybe you can bring the music and dance for us when you come in June! We would love it!
I agree with your Grandma Gillespie, we want our own private dance revue. You look so beautiful Emma. I bet your family was so proud. I loved watching my little girls dance, keep dancing and shining on that stage.
I'd love a video or a live performance!
