Our family was supposed to go to our ward's Trunk-or-Treat tonight BUT plans changed....poor little Luke got sick at school. His teacher called me about 10:30 am saying he looked droopy and like he didn't feel well. I knew this was going to be so hard on Luke because today was a special day for him, he was going to eat lunch with his friend Dalton and his mom in the outside courtyard. Sure enough when I picked him up he was crying and I knew the major cause was him missing his lunch date :( Poor kid. So we took it easy today but he still was not feeling well tonight. He fell asleep on the couch while Gavin and Emma and I carved our pumpkin. Then Emma got ready for the Trunk-or-Treat and Luke realized he wasn't going and melted down. He said I was the meanest mom ever and that I was ruining his life :( All this while I was taking his 102 degree temp. Poor boy! So Emma ended up going on a Daddy/Daughter date to the activity!

Emma is about the cutest little witch I've ever seen! Darling costume! But I'm so sad for little Lukey! Why is it kids always get sick when there is something really special planned? Sorry he took it out on you, Sara, but we've all been there! (Blame it on the 102 degree temp!) Hope he feels better soon! Hopefully he'll feel better for Friday night trick-or-treating...or does your trunk or treat take its place?

I love Emma's costume! We had out trunk or treat and it is just too cold! I know I've been away from Utah too long and I am not used to this weather! Anyway, I feel bad Luke's sick =( I hate those comments, huh? Josh will tell me I am "not his best friend anymore". I'll have to let him know soon I am not here to be his best friend =)
Em looks so cute. I love how photogenic she is. A total model! Poor little Lukey (and poor you). It's the worst when they lay the guilt trip on you for taking care of them.
