Green Meadows Farm

Today some of the ladies from our ward were taking their 3 year olds that do preschool together to Green Meadows Farm and they invited Emma, Gavin and Me to go with! We also took Emma's friend Marin. It was a rough start....Emma was afraid of EVERYTHING! As you can see in the first picture of her diving trying to get away from the cow! Then something clicked and she settled down. There was a dog roaming around that made her jump into my arms. I had to carry her around until I told her he was the farm dog that was showing us around to all the animals. Soon she warmed up to the idea and then the dog was her favorite part of the day! She was following him around and petting him every chance she could. She was frustrating the tour guide because he would be showing the group an ostrich or some cool animal and there was Emma preoccupied with the dog. The tour guide finally shooed the dog away so he could have her attention :) Gavin's favorite part of the day was the tractors they had all over the farm. Everytime he saw one he would squirm and yell for me to put him on it (thus all the different tractor shots :)

OH BY THE WAY....this is one of the AFLAC ducks they use in the commercials! So we met a celebrity today :)

It's only a guess, but I would say that the red tractor was Gavin's favorite! Cute, cute, cute! It doesn't appear Emma was afraid of a thing there! Was this a school field trip? Love you!

What an AWESOME farm. Like the kind you would read about in a "farm of all farms perfect farm" book. Your pictures are amazing. I bet your kids had a blast. Oh the joys of the simple life. Sometimes, I daydream about living on a farm. Mooo.

Your pictures were so cute and brought back a flood of memories from the visit we made to that farm when Tanner and Luke were little!

Wow. Cute pictures. LOOK at those baby ducks. So darn cute. Oh my kids would go crazy for that. It's just fun to see other families out there doing the things you would do and love with your own kids.

You got some classic pictures of both Emma and Gavin! I love the one of someone trying to hand Gav the little duck?. The look on his face is hilarious!!!

Gavin on that tractor is about the cutest thing ever. We had tons of those farms in Seattle, and I have missed them here. Too bad I couldn't go (I am a slave to making jewelry right now), but it looks like you guys had a great time.

What a cool place. As I was reading this I was cracking up because my pictures would be IDENTICAL. Chloe & Lily afraid of the animals and then mauling them and Brigham on every tractor within a two mile radius.

This post made me miss you guys even more than usual.
