I am grateful for air conditioning

We got home to Florida and walked in our house and were hit by a heat wave! Our AC broke and it got up to 88 degrees in our house Monday night! We had called a guy to come fix it and he said it was "not fixable" and that we had to buy a whole new system. YIKES! I don't think it was the heat as much as it was the humidity that was killing us and making us sticky! The upstairs was unbearable and so I moved the kids all into the guest room and Matt and I slept downstairs on the sofa bed with the windows open. The next day we had about 3 other companies come and give us quotes on new systems and that's when my new best friend Curtis from Mid Town Mechanical came and saved the day! Thank you Curtis! He fixed it!!!!! I was a little upset with the guy from the day before. It's times like these that make you grateful for the things we take for granted. I realized I don't deal well in hard circumstances...just ask Matt how ornery I got. Actually don't ask him, let's just say heat and humidity make me ornery :)
