Productive day!

Actually the last two days have been productive! I had quite a list of things that I have been putting off and I have been checking them off like crazy! YEA! Today I cleaned the garage, at one point it was messier then when I started because I was pulling all kinds of things out for Emma and Gavin to play with to keep them busy. At one point the good old swim inner tube did the trick. It didn't last long though :) At least it made a cute picture to blog about :)

Then they pretended they were sleeping :)

Can I be your kitty?

I had such a funny conversation with Emma today...it went like this:

Emma: Mom when you were 4 did you ever have anyone in your class that was mean to you?

Me: Yes Emma there was a boy named Chris that was kind of mean to me.

Emma: Was he mean because he didn't let you be his kitty?

Me: Yes (lie).

Emma: Oh that's like Amber in my class. But then later did he start being nice to you?

Me: Yes, but it took a while

Emma: Hey that's just like Amber, it took her a while to let me be her kitty but now she does! :)

OH I HOPE THAT IS THE ONLY MEAN THING THAT KIDS DO TO EMMA IN HER LIFE :)

A House of Monkeys and Pigs

While we were at the park today Luke and Emma learned to go clear across the monkey bars. They were both so proud of themselves. They have tried and tried and never made it all the way across...today as I was watching them I realized they were taking too long to get across and then their little arms would get tired and so when they hurried across they made it! I love life's little accomplishments that give them more confidence :)

Oh and while at the park Gavin learned to snort like a pig :) He thinks he is so funny now :)

(These pictures and videos are not the best quality...they were taken with my phone - I need to remember to take my camera EVERYWHERE! I wish I had a video of the snorting...that will have to come tomorrow)

Green Meadows Farm

Today some of the ladies from our ward were taking their 3 year olds that do preschool together to Green Meadows Farm and they invited Emma, Gavin and Me to go with! We also took Emma's friend Marin. It was a rough start....Emma was afraid of EVERYTHING! As you can see in the first picture of her diving trying to get away from the cow! Then something clicked and she settled down. There was a dog roaming around that made her jump into my arms. I had to carry her around until I told her he was the farm dog that was showing us around to all the animals. Soon she warmed up to the idea and then the dog was her favorite part of the day! She was following him around and petting him every chance she could. She was frustrating the tour guide because he would be showing the group an ostrich or some cool animal and there was Emma preoccupied with the dog. The tour guide finally shooed the dog away so he could have her attention :) Gavin's favorite part of the day was the tractors they had all over the farm. Everytime he saw one he would squirm and yell for me to put him on it (thus all the different tractor shots :)

OH BY THE WAY....this is one of the AFLAC ducks they use in the commercials! So we met a celebrity today :)

My cute sister has news!!!!

My sister Kim is so funny....she sent an email saying "Guess Who's Pregnant" and then this picture was attached! :) Hilarious!

CONGRATS Garretts!!! We are so excited for you!

Baa Baa Black Sheep...

Emma has been singing Baa Baa Black Sheep (or something like that)....

Baa Baa Black Sheep
la la la la wool
Yes sir, yes sir, 3 bags full

One for my master
one for my name
one for the little boy
who swims in the lake.

Isn't it funny to hear THEIR versions :)
