Well our team did pretty well...we came in 6th out of 15 teams. Our total time was 1:26:25.....my swim time was 9:03......Marie's bike time was 37:36......and Matt's run time was 37:42.

This is Matt at the beginning of his run....Yes Matt has his shirt off! :) It was VERY hot! :)
Then we all jumped on a shuttle to the finish line....Gavin was being so funny and leaning on Kennedy the whole ride.

Gavin didn't want to go to Matt until he put on his shirt and wasn't quite as sweaty :)
Emma wanted to run too so Matt grabbed her and they both ran through the finish line together! CUTE!

Oh Sara Congrats on yet another triathalon!!! (Matt too) You guys are so inspiring and make me so jealous! I had fun looking for you and Amy in that picture...it was like playing "Where's Waldo"...you guys are so cute!!
Hey Heather...I am impressed with you!!!! It looks like you ran a MARATHON! Wow I don't think I could do that! I don't know about hot mama...I wish I would remember that people have cameras at these events and get my hair trimmed beforehand! :) Actually the water is really warm. In fact they were worried about the amoebas in the water because people have died before in other lakes that get too warm and the amoebas get bad. So they made us sign a waiver saying we wouldn't sue them if we died :) They also gave us nose plugs. The worst part of the water was the high grass/plants that were scratching us throughout the whole swim. My arms would even get tangled in it! Talk about gross. Thanks for your comments and support everyone!

Way to go!! I loved the pictures, it made me feel like I was actually there. You are truly amazing and a great example. I hope to pick up running again sometime soon but my pillow is more appealing right now than my tennis shoes. Thanks for your great example. Love you tons
OK I'm not going to lie. It just makes me sick to see these pictures. That is where I am in my fitness level. I can't even swim the length of my pool, let alone the ocean. Yea, I'm a slug!!! Anyway you go girl!!! And Matthew you're a stud!!! A super skinny stud. I have a picture of you in high school without your shirt on, you're lookin' a little better. HAHA!!!!
On a different note, I'm tryin' to talk my husband into a trip to Orlando, are you guys coming home for the holidays this year? Just wondering, I was thinking about coming after Christmas and doing the Disney thing. It seems to be the only time the whole family could maybe go. Anyway Maybe!!! Love ya all, Stay safe!!!
Congratulations on yet another triathalon! And fun that you both could participate. You are both in such great shape!
